When I was looking around the amusapalooza blog...I notied they were doing a "Where's Eddie" and the pic shows him in Venice (Italy)...but many people were guessing Vegas. It made me think of the gondola ride I took with my husband on our anniversary last year. So...I thought I would share a few pics from that day. Enjoy...I did.

A*Muse*ing Little Tags

I have decided to play along with the challenges over at the A Muse site...this first entry is using a square for inspiration. http://amusenews.typepad.com/a_muse_news/2009/06/ap-challenge-1-square.html

I used a piece of cs (card stock) that was 2.75" x 3.75", scored 1" at one end and foled over to make the square. I then stamped on a piece of cs that was 2.5" x 2.5" and slid it under the flap...with the vellum I stamped in a different piece and layered the vellum over...then punched a couple of holes at the top and threaded ribbon to finish it off. Very simple...very easy. I actually had to make 2 yellow tags because Cash loved it so much he thought it was a chew toy. that's what I get for leaving him unattended in the rubber room. I did use glitter paper for the red tag...then stamped and colored in with Bic Mark It! pens. Thanks for letting me share...and have a great day.

Oops...no video

Well...I tried to upload some skating videos today...but the links wouldn't work right. I'll have to work on video uploading another time. In the meantime...if you want to watch some fancy footwork, the videos on the right are new this week...just uploaded them to youtube. Seems like youtube is just a hair easier than blogging. Enjoy...and thanks for stopping by. Have a great Day!

Oh...my poor neglected blog...I don't know why I can't seem to keep up with things around here...oh well...I'll keep trying.
This card is one that I'll be doing...along with 3 others...for a vintage workshop. The key and heart lock was done with a spellbinders die. I used copper metal to cut the key and then scuffed it to show the silver metal under...which I think came out great. The sides are from the Fiskars rope border punch. The stamp used on top and bottom of the lock and key is a Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz deal...I'm not sure which one...because I forgot to lable it when I put it away.
I'm working on a few other art projects to include a canvas art piece...and...be still my heart...a white piece of lether that will hang off the side of my skates...yipee. At the rate I'm going it'll be a year before I can finish and upload it...lol. Well...I think I'm done for today. I'll try and upload some other skating vids once I figure out how. Have a great day...and thanks for letting me share my blog with you.
